Pigs in a Blanket/Stuffed Cabbage
Now, when thinking of a great dinner to make without draining the wallet and that tastes great. Above all one meal that come to mind, and that my friends and family like, is pigs in a blanket. Also called stuffed cabbage. Here it is made from a mixture of cabbage, ground beef, onions, and a few other items. With that in mind, making this recipe is sure to fill the whole family with this delicious flavored dish.
Generally speaking, if you are looking for a great dish for meal prepping then the stuffed cabbage is the way to go. In addition, it freezes great for up to 2 weeks. However it is great for a quick dinner or for the picky one. Also, it make a great lunchbox meal or just a snack. As a rule, if you are making these for a big party or get together, you can double or even triple the recipe.

What you are going to need:
1 med/large head of Cabbage
2 pounds Ground Beef
1 large Onion
1 Egg
1 cup Rice (Instant Rice is fine)
2 15 ounce cans of Tomato Sauce (½ can for Recipe
½ can for Pan

2 cloves Garlic
1 tablespoon Italian Seasoning
½ teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon Pepper

Mixing up some Stuffed Cabbage:
First, you are going to need to soften the 1 med/large head Cabbagecabbage, to make it easier to roll. Now, to do that, you can boil the cabbage for 25 minutes. As well as, an instant pot for about 25 minutes. Nevertheless, both ways will make the cabbage soft. Second, you are going to have to cook your rice, whether it’s instant rice or cooked rice. After that, you can start putting all of it together.
Now, to start take your bowl and put in your 2 lbs Ground Beefground beef and 1 cup Ricerice in it. Then, mix together throughly while adding the 1 Eggegg and ½ (15oz) can Tomato Saucetomato sauce. After that, stir in the 1 large Oniononions, 2 cloves Garlicgarlic, ½ tsp. Saltsalt, and ¼ tsp. Pepperpepper. Next, add the1 tbsp. Italian SeasoningItalian seasoning. Meanwhile take some ½ (15oz) can Tomato Saucetomato sauce and layer the bottom of the pan lightly. Next, take the ground beef mixture and roll into the Cooked Cabbage Leavescabbage leaves and place into the pan. As a result, you may have extra cabbage leaves, either cook them and eat them or toss them. However you can use them for coleslaw!
Cooking them up:
Finally, pour 1 (15oz) can Tomato Saucetomato sauce on top of all the rolls. Then place foil over top and stick in oven for an hour and 45 minutes.
