Peanut Butter Cookies made from homemade!

Traditional Peanut Butter Cookies

Now this is a very good recipe that comes from the family. These peanut butter cookies are chewy, soft, and delicious. Also they are made from the heart, not just produced. What your going to need:

 ¾ Cup Flour

 ¼ teaspoon Baking Powder

 Pinch of Salt

 ¼ teaspoon Baking Soda

 1 Egg

 ¼ Cup Shortening

 A Mixer and Bowl

 ¼ Cup Peanut Butter


 ¼ Cup Sugar

 A Butter Knife

 ¼ Cup Brown Sugar

 2 cookie sheet pans

These are peanut butter cookies with purple icing and sugar on them.

First off Preheat oven 350.

Now to get started, what your going to do is get your bowl and start putting in the ingredients.¼ cup Shortening
¼ cup Peanut Butter
First, cream shortening, then add peanut butter and cream well.
Then next 1 Egg add egg continuously creaming.
Meanwhile, ¼ cup Brown Sugar
¼ cup Sugar
pack your brown sugar and add it to the mixture, along with the sugar. Continue to mix until creamy and smooth.
Next, add the dry ingredients slowly to the mixture. Start with the baking powder and ¼ teaspoon Baking Powder
¼ teaspoon Baking Soda
baking soda, add both of them to your creamy mixture.
Then add the Pinch of Saltsalt to the mixture and with your spoon mix them in.
Lastly, add the ¾ cup Flourflour to the mixture and mix it up.

Ready to cook the Peanut Butter cookies:

Next, take little 1 inch dough ball out and place onto a well greased baking pan (recommend using parchment paper on the pans) about 1 inch apart. After that, take your fork and flatten with fork. If you like, you can either roll the balls in sugar or sprinkle a little on top. Place in the oven for about 8 to 10 minutes or until lightly brown on the bottom.
