Let’s mix up some fluffy white icing:
First, you are going to want to cook up the first part, which is not called roux, that is for sauces and gravies.
Again, stir slowly and consistently until mixture starts to thicken to a paste. Now, once you have a nice thick paste remove from heat and chill in the refrigerator for about an hour.
At the same time, start making to dessert you want to use the icing on!
Afterward, to finish making your icing you are going to need your blender.
½ cup Shorteningbutter and shortening, and start to blend those together.
Generally, you want to whip it so it looks like whipped cream when finished. If yours does not look like that, continuously whip until it does. Best if mix is cooler and not warm. Now, you can color it, mix fruit in it, or what ever. But, easy to decorate with it when it remains cool. Enjoy!
