Now time for some real home cooking and not from a box. Here is a Mac and cheese recipe guaranteed to please! First of all, Mac and cheese is a favorite for kids. But, if it’s fish night, this is definitely the recipe you want.


As with all Mac and cheese, what people crave is the cheesy part. Here is some little extra additions in this recipe to give you a new appreciation for Mac and cheese. It is sure to please. With that in mind, hope your hungry and enjoy this recipe.

Preparation: 35 minutes

Cook time: 30 minutes

Temperature: 350℉/176.6℃ then 425℉/218.3℃

Servings: 9

What you are going to need:

 1 lb large Macaroni

 ½ cup Butter

 2 cup Milk

 1 teaspoon Paprika

 1 ½ cups cubed Processed Cheese

 2 cups shredded Cheddar Cheese

 ½ teaspoon Salt

 ½ teaspoon Pepper

 1 cup Colby

 1 cup Monterey Jack Cheese

 ¼ cup Breadcrumbs

 Medium Pot for boiling Macaroni

Mac and cheese the way it should be!

Mixing up some Mac and cheese:

First you’re going to want to get your macaroni cooked by using the directions on the package. Then when the macaroni are finished strain the water out, in a bowl let them soak in warm water. This is so they don’t stick.


Next, take the pot you cooked the macaroni in and give it a quick rinse. Now on medium-high melt the ½ cup Butterbutter. After that add in half the 1 cup Milkmilk and stir continuously to keep from burning. Then add the 1½ cups cubed Processed Cheeseprocessed cheese in while continuing to stir until cheese is melted. After that, lower the heat to low and put the 1 lb large Macaronimacaroni back into the pot with the milk mixture. Now take the 1 tsp Paprikapaprika and add to the mixture, stir. Now, add in the 2 cups shredded Cheddar Cheesecheddar cheese and stir until melted. At last put in the rest of the 1 cup Milkmilk, ½ tsp. Salt
½ tsp. Pepper

and give it one last good stir.

The finish up cooking of the Mac and Cheese:

Then, take the mixture and place into the casserole dish. Next, take the 1 cup Colby Cheesecolby cheese and 1 cup Monterey Jack Cheesemonterey jack cheese and sprinkle evenly over top of the mac and cheese mixture. Now, place into the oven covered at 350℉/176.6℃ for 20 minutes. After that, carefully remove from the oven,  remove cover and sprinkle the ¼ cup Breadcrumbsbreadcrumbs on top of the hot melted cheese. Finally at 425℉/218.3℃ place in the oven uncovered for an additional 10 minutes.
